"metamorphosis" the album
A full-quality, factory-pressed CD album is available from otaku.com!

This is my first non-hobby independent music album. However all the music are derivations of tunes from my past "Project" series, so those of you who are familiar with my game music projects might find it particularly interesting. Some of the music titles have been renewed for the occasion.
The album's theme is "Fantasy", where I thought it would be perfect to make use of my existing repertoire as a bridge between my own musical fantasies and career material.
With the help of my pro musician friends, the album features live instrument performances of violin, cello, and guitar.

Notes

After graduating from college, my work as been mostly providing music for other people's projects, under client requests. As much as it is fun in its own right, I have also wanted to exploit my own ways with music. So I have decided to create this music album as a stepping stone in seeking a career as an independent composer, beside from being a freelance creator.
Being my own sponsor, there were limits to how much I could experiment with issues of budget and schedule, but thanks to the extraordinary help of my musician friends, I believe I was able to make maximum use of available resources to create this album, of which I am proud.
Some of the featured music originally dated back as far as ten years, and it was interesting personally to see how some things did and did not change(mostly the latter) over time in my stance in designing melodies, which are my most valued element in musical conception.

Thanks again to Fumiko Mori (violin), Masaru Tamagawa (cello), Tatsuya Maeda (guitar), and Toshinori Hiramatsu (guitar) for making this project possible!
